A strong first month.

April marked FinePrint's first full month on the Chrome Web Store. We shipped meaningful improvements to analysis quality, performance, and the overall extension experience. Here's what changed.

Analysis history is now live for Pro users

Pro users can now access their full analysis history — every privacy policy and terms of service document FinePrint has analyzed, with the AI summary and flagged clauses saved for future reference. Access your history from the extension panel or through your account dashboard.

Cookie auto-rejection improvements

We expanded FinePrint's cookie auto-rejection to handle more banner frameworks. The feature now successfully handles banners from OneTrust, Cookiebot, TrustArc, and several other common consent management platforms. Coverage will continue to expand in future updates.

Faster analysis

Average analysis time dropped by about 40% this month, thanks to optimizations in how we send document text to the AI pipeline. Long documents that previously timed out now complete reliably.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed an issue where the extension panel would show a loading spinner indefinitely on some sites

  • Fixed session persistence — users no longer need to log in every time they open Chrome

  • Fixed a layout issue in the risky clause dropdown on some screen sizes

Coming in May

We're working on deeper clause categorization, improved detection on single-page applications, and the beginning of Firefox support. Stay tuned.
